Criteria & Expectations:
- Campus hosts must commit to developing an immersive campus experience for our tour participants.
- The immersive site visit ranges from 4-6 hours depending on how many campus hosts we have that year.
- The immersive experience must include:
- a campus tour,
- an international admissions information session,
- some sort of current student representation, and
- a meal (typically lunch).

- Campus hosts must commit to the fee. The fee covers:
- Accommodations, ground transportation, meals not provided by campus hosts, at least one cultural excursion, and a tour gift for all the counselor participants.
- Two Study North Carolina chaperones.
Timeline for the 2027 tour:
- Applications will open August 1, 2026.
- Applications will be due October 1, 2026.
- Campus hosts will be confirmed by November 1, 2026.
- Host fees are due to Study North Carolina by December 1, 2026.
